Our Story

A Step Back in Time, Deep in Southern Aroostook County

The main lodge was built by lumbermen in the late 1800s, and the first sporting cabins went up in 1904. Guests have been returning ever since — for the fishing, the trails, and the kind of quiet you can't find anywhere with power lines.

Most of the original buildings still stand, including the lodge with its historic photographs and mounted game from over a century of Maine sporting life.
